A day between the vineyards and the cellar

We will spend a gorgeous day in a farmstead surrounded by a green area for the lovers of wine and of the vineyards. Depending on the season we offer you two different experiences:

A) A) WINE HARVEST AND MASHING
As real wine artisan, we will help you during a fun wine harvest! With baskets and pincers we will walk through the vineyards to select carefully, the best bunches! Pic-nic in a gorgeous garden between the vineyards and the olive groves with typical products. In the farmyard of the stead we offer you the chance to try mashing the bunches…obviously with your feet in the vat! Lunch with a regional menu with wine tastings. Free time to relax and visit of the nearby medieval hamlet. (Period: September)

B) Cellar management and wine stating course
A day to discover the characteristics of the different grapes and their use in the farmstead. Meeting with a enologist to get the general notions about the wine making. Visit to the cellar and to the farmstead in all its corners, from the vineyards to the bottling to the warehouse. Basic wine tasting course to get to know better the product of the farm that will host us and to recognize the general characteristics of white, red, rose, sparkling and passito wines. Lunch with regional menu matching the wine studied with the expert. Free time to relax and to visit the nearby medieval hamlet. (Period: yearlong)

The prices are based on 2 days/1 night and include:
*dinner or lunch in an agritourism/ typical restaurant
*1 Night with B&B accommodation in Food Hotel by the sea or on the hills

Transfer by bus not included. On demand, these experiences can be integrated by a cultural or Food&Wine tour of one or of more days.
